Former Eastern League prospect Royce Lint was born on this date in 1921. He played for the Albany Senators during the 1946 and '47 seasons.

He pitched in 30 games for the 1954 St. Louis Cardinals (2-3, 4.86 ERA).

Lint died on April 3, 2006, at the age of 85.
