Happy 67th birthday to former Eastern League prospect Jose Baez. He played in 114 for the Waterbury Dodgers in 1975.

Baez played for Seattle Mariners during the 1977 and '78 seasons.

After he retired as a player, he coached in the minors and managed the Dominican Republic national team in the 1998 World Cup.
