Today's Birthday: Max Patkin (Wilkes-Barre Barons, 1946)

The "Clown Prince" of baseball, Max Patkin was born on this date in 1920. He pitched in 5 games in the Eastern League for the 1946 Wilkes-Barre Barons. 

After his playing career, he performed at minor league stadiums throughout the United States for 51 years.

Patkin died on October 30, 1999, at the age of 79.
