Happy 66th birthday to former Eastern League prospect and manager Gary Allenson. He played for the 1976 Bristol Red Sox. He managed the 1991 New Britain Red Sox and New Hampshire Fisher Cats in 2013 and 2017.

Allenson played for the Boston Red Sox (1979-84) and Toronto Blue Jays (1985).
