Happy 61st Birthday to former Eastern League prospect Nick Esasky. He led the Eastern League in home runs (30) in 1980, playing for the Waterbury Reds.

Esasky played for Cincinnati Reds (1983-88), Boston Red Sox (1989), and Atlanta Braves (1990).
