Happy 81st Birthday to former Eastern League prospect Danny Cater. He played for the Williamsport Grays for two seasons (1960-61).

Cater played for the Philadelphia Phillies (1964), Chicago White Sox (1965-66), Kansas City/Oakland Athletics (1966-69), New York Yankees (1970-71), Boston Red Sox (1972-74), and St. Louis Cardinals (1975). 

After he retired as a player, Cater coached for the Syracuse Chiefs.
