Happy 82nd Birthday to former Eastern League prospect Al Neiger. He played for the Williamsport Grays in 1959 and '60.

Neiger pitched in 6 games for the 1960 Philadelphia Phillies.

He was inducted into the Delaware Sports Museum Hall of Fame in 1984, and the University of Delaware Athletics Hall of Fame in 2008.
