Happy 77th Birthday to former Eastern League prospect Jan Dukes. He pitched for the York White Roses in 1967.

Dukes played for the Washington Senators (1969-70), and Texas Rangers (1972). 

He was inducted into the Peninsula Sports Hall of Fame (San Mateo County, California) in 2005.
