Former Eastern League prospect Roy Jarvis was born on this date in 1926. He played for the Albany Senators in 1948.
Jarvis played in one game for the 1944 Brooklyn Dodgers and played in a total of 21 games in Pittsburgh Pirates during the 1946 and 1947 seasons.
He worked as a salesman after his baseball career and died in January 13, 1990 at the age of 63.
