Happy 69th Birthday to former Eastern League prospect Pepe Mangual. He played for the Quebec Carnavals in 1971, and at the end of his career, the 1984 Waterbury Angels.

Mangul played in the majors during 6 seasons with the Montreal Expos (1972-76) and New York  Mets (1976-77). 

He is the brother of Angel Mangual and cousin of Coco Laboy.
